permissions post;
Coming from a canon which allowed the twins to travel through the time and space dimensions, they could almost always predict the outcome of just about any situation. It was their personal experiment to add variables to the constant that was Booker DeWitt's life. And for more than one hundred attempts, it always came out to one of two endings. Spoilersss~
My goal in Maison is to cancel out their traveling abilities while still keeping them in touch with that timespace warp. I'll do this by using a less glorified version of their creation of the Lutece Tear, they will be able to witness the alternate dimension from outside the small bubble— Unable to enter the dimension as they normally would.
I'm only asking permission from you about specific moments in your character's history or future that changes their canon ending that you allow the Twins to be share with your character or something they simply hint at your character if you do not want them to be spoiled of their future.
not the sexy kind of CR with the Luteces, fill out the thingy below and we can plot stuff!
I would like to reiterate that I will likely be doing research on your canon just to make sure I understand context, but in the event that I don't have time (or if it's too far into the series) I would really appreciate as many details about the situation as possible and needed that the twins would be capable of knowing. This means that knowledge they 'see' through their tears in the warp will only be limited to what you tell me.
If you don't want the Lutece's to flat out expose their knowledge of your character, they can drop hints every now and again just to freak your character out. It's all up to you! And of course, if I ever go too far with the information be sure to let me know and I'll edit/retcon anything I need to. I'll always try to be careful to maintain your permissions, so I hope this won't happen.

I may edit this as needed, but for now this is just the basic information I think I'll need to begin plotting with you!

- Game characters which are capable of multiple endings based upon player decisions.
- Any other character who has experienced an alternate timeline of any sort (Buffy/Angel, Supernatural, etc etc).
- If your character has had a major plot point decision that could have changed the entire outcome of their story, the twins may (with permission and your headcanon guidance) would know small things about the opposite decision made by your character.

Your Character Name and Canon Molly Hayes | Runaways
Are the Lutece's able to see the decisions/moments that have changed your character's path? Sure! Uh, if I ever pinpoint any? XD
What about these decisions/moments can they know? Well, the thing is that there's no canon info on how certain different paths come about, so... There is one specific point that changed one outcome, though - a future where one of her friends became the leader of the Avengers was destroyed when said leader came back in time to warn the Runaways about a future villain so they could stop him from coming to power and killing... well, all the Avengers. I'm pretty sure what changed was that they decided to try to REFORM the kid rather than just attack him straight up. As for the future X-Men thing that came up recently, there is no info on what exactly caused that one. And I'm sure there are other possibilities I could come up with. ^^;; They'd just be headcanony. Specifically the one where Alex didn't decide to show the rest of the kids what the Pride (aka their secretly-super-villain parents) were doing. Or if Alex hadn't decided to betray them. None of these choices were really things she did, just things she... witnessed or went along with, that significantly changed her future.
Are they able to see the alternate outcomes of these decisions? Yes
What is significant / What should they know about these alternate outcomes? In the future X-Men one, the only real significant thing I"m aware of is that she becomes an X-Men and then travels back in time with her X-Men team to save the universe with the current X-Men. The Avengers-destruction outcome is... basically this kid named Victor who is actually an android created by Ultron became a supervillain. He tricked the Avengers into thinking he was one of them, and then turned on them and killed them all. It's insinuated that all of the Runaways had died by the time the last of them (Gertrude Yorkes, the leader of the Avengers by that point) travelled back in time to try to stop it. Molly is well aware of this future. And then, if Alex hadn't decided to let them all in on the secret of their parents being Evil, or hadn't even discovered it himself... well, the plan was for all six families to continue sacrificing to the monstrous Gibborim, and then when the Gibborim destroyed the earth and started over, there would be six places for survivors. Each of them WAS to save their only child. But Molly's parents (mutants) and Karolina's parents (aliens) felt like they were looked down upon by the other four families (all human), and had conspired to backstab the rest and claim the reward for both of their families. They probably would've succeeded if it weren't for Alex finding out and then alerting the other kids to the Pride's existence, and so the world would've ended leaving the Hayeses and the Deans to have more children and rebuild civilization themselves. Oh goodie, right? anyway, i could probably expound more and come up with more possible futures, if you ever want to actually bring it up in a thread, we can chat and sort stuff out, yeah? :D
Has your character personally experienced an alternate timeline in their canon? Not directly, but she's had an alternate future version of her friend Gert come back in time to warn them to change the future so everything wouldn't be destroyed. So she knows they exist.
Can the Twins know about that alternate timeline? What should they know about it? yeah, as i said, that would've been an alternate ending sortof, right? whatever, yes to everything. XD
Would you like them to be discreet with this information? Can they blurt it out or should they drop hints? They can be as forward or as discrete as you would have them be. :)
