permissions post;
Coming from a canon which allowed the twins to travel through the time and space dimensions, they could almost always predict the outcome of just about any situation. It was their personal experiment to add variables to the constant that was Booker DeWitt's life. And for more than one hundred attempts, it always came out to one of two endings. Spoilersss~
My goal in Maison is to cancel out their traveling abilities while still keeping them in touch with that timespace warp. I'll do this by using a less glorified version of their creation of the Lutece Tear, they will be able to witness the alternate dimension from outside the small bubble— Unable to enter the dimension as they normally would.
I'm only asking permission from you about specific moments in your character's history or future that changes their canon ending that you allow the Twins to be share with your character or something they simply hint at your character if you do not want them to be spoiled of their future.
not the sexy kind of CR with the Luteces, fill out the thingy below and we can plot stuff!
I would like to reiterate that I will likely be doing research on your canon just to make sure I understand context, but in the event that I don't have time (or if it's too far into the series) I would really appreciate as many details about the situation as possible and needed that the twins would be capable of knowing. This means that knowledge they 'see' through their tears in the warp will only be limited to what you tell me.
If you don't want the Lutece's to flat out expose their knowledge of your character, they can drop hints every now and again just to freak your character out. It's all up to you! And of course, if I ever go too far with the information be sure to let me know and I'll edit/retcon anything I need to. I'll always try to be careful to maintain your permissions, so I hope this won't happen.

I may edit this as needed, but for now this is just the basic information I think I'll need to begin plotting with you!

- Game characters which are capable of multiple endings based upon player decisions.
- Any other character who has experienced an alternate timeline of any sort (Buffy/Angel, Supernatural, etc etc).
- If your character has had a major plot point decision that could have changed the entire outcome of their story, the twins may (with permission and your headcanon guidance) would know small things about the opposite decision made by your character.

Are the Lutece's able to see the decisions/moments that have changed your character's path? Thanks to something in the house, nope! In fact, an area about personal-space-bubble around him, whether earring or owl, is a blank space of nada.
Would you like them to be discreet with this information? Can they blurt it out or should they drop hints? Whichever you want/whatever they would actually want to say about it!
Your Character Name and Canon: Kuja
Are the Lutece's able to see the decisions/moments that have changed your character's path? He has the same effect as Spade. Have fun! If they can read from something that's basically "overly smart animal", they might get something off Sondren, his dragon, when Sondren's more than five feet from him.
What about these decisions/moments can they know? Sondren's part of it isn't real complicated; he perked up and got picked when Kuja needed a mount/help getting around, got to go from a dead world to a living one, and got controlled by Kuja's creator to attack others that were interfering, dying in the process.
Are they able to see the alternate outcomes of these decisions? If Sondren hadn't it would've been one of the other silver dragons. If Garland hadn't controlled Sondren he probably would've tried to leash-yank Kuja or used other defense systems, and it would've been one less hairline crack before Kuja broke down completely, but wouldn't have averted that.
What is significant / What should they know about these alternate outcomes? Sondren is not really the biggest player in things, sadly.
Has your character personally experienced an alternate timeline in their canon? Nope!
Would you like them to be discreet with this information? Can they blurt it out or should they drop hints? Have fun with the confusion!

Are the Lutece's able to see the decisions/moments that have changed your character's path? Yep! He's stone normal. The only one in the house that might be an "ask a mod" is the burn scar on his forehead.
What about these decisions/moments can they know? The big ones before the House are when he was about seven or eight and got in trouble trying to "Help", but was stubborn enough that his mother took him to England where he'd be less of a target and she could vaguely point him constructive directions; a missing persons case when he was twelve that he was handed by himself as a "this probably is just someone who got drunk and hasn't checked in yet" that led to him facewalling into a very nasty serial killer; and looking at an "at worst public nuisance" overdramatic master thief, noticing some things off that pointed at something worse around that case, and decided to obsessively chase it.
Are they able to see the alternate outcomes of these decisions? Yes!
What is significant / What should they know about these alternate outcomes? If he hadn't continued the detective work thing when his father/a few others tried to force him away from it, he probably would've depressive-spiraled hard and bad as a little kid. The next big turning point was a case when he was twelve; if he hadn't been as stubborn and had given up, he wouldn't have a bunch of injuries/trauma, but the serial killer would've gone on unnoticed for a likely LONG time, and probably have a death toll approaching triple digits since he was going for homeless/people that wouldn't be noticed missing, also Saguru wouldn't have been taken seriously as "capable" for several more years. If he hadn't started chasing Kaitou Kid and had left alone the "something bad is up", there's some odds of the group Kid's up against having killed him already, and he'd still be a lot more isolated/"I do not social period".
Has your character personally experienced an alternate timeline in their canon? Nope!
Would you like them to be discreet with this information? Can they blurt it out or should they drop hints? Whatever seems appropriate at the time, I have no preference!

Are the Lutece's able to see the decisions/moments that have changed your character's path? Yes. /evil player handrub plotting. His app copy with background is on his journal!
What about these decisions/moments can they know?
1) Studying abroad in Europe was a big one, since it meant him meeting someone that was a good friend at the time, Zane.
2) Being uneasy about the signs of something weird around them/them being able to channel other power when Zane started messing with it.
3) Deciding to give in and use it to try to stop Zane when Zane first got possessed.
4) The Four Horsemen deciding to grab him on the coin toss, breaking him out of the possession.
5) Him bolting on them after they had it bound solid, and going into hiding.
6) There's several incidents of Zane trying to provoke him into using his power and undoing the bindings scattered here and there.
7) Deciding not to leave the caravan when there started being too many people there that would be Involved in Things he usually avoided.
8) Grumbling but not speaking up, complaining, or disappearing when Andras decided to go off "looking for this hypothetical person who totally isn't sitting right over there", using him as bait to draw Zane away from the front lines/populated areas.
Are they able to see the alternate outcomes of these decisions? Yes!
What is significant / What should they know about these alternate outcomes?
1) Never would've met Zane, leading to no actual connection between them; would've used his powers in a panic when things went wrong, gotten possessed sooner the "Angel" would've had a longer rampage and likely reduced most of North America to ash and salt before a direct confrontation happened and the Horsemen getting a chance to reign it in. There's also a bit of leverage that hasn't come into play yet that wouldn't exist.
2) If he hadn't been unsure, would've gotten possessed sooner, with less of a struggle, and been harder to break out of it; it might've ended up being something where the Horsemen would've had to kill him to break its ability to wreck things in this plain.
3) If he hadn't used it, Zane probably would've killed him; the short term would be "easier" since there would've only been one rampaging deity-being, but long term "harder" because the one using him would've found another channel that would've probably been more willing.
4) Zane would've been more likely to try and risk testing the bindings occasionally to use bits and pieces of his power, and more likely to try to go get involved in things - which probably would've done some good, but have a high risk of him getting possessed again before anything was rebuilt enough to think about dealing with it. David's possessed rampage would've been harder to stop, also, meaning more damage before they managed to deal with it.
5) This kind of was a dumb/more unpredictable. If he'd stayed with them, they would've been able to prevent a lot of #6, and likely would've been sort of voluntary-experimenting trying to figure out how to deal with the being using him; he wouldn't have been around any populated areas when the other one got loose, and they'd be juggling keeping him out of reach right now.
6) If he'd used his powers to defend himself, it would've taken over again, and it probably would've been "The apocalypse restarted and nobody was prepared".
7) If he'd left, he would've been chased down several times, probably end up taken captive, and the "Holy King" messing with thing would've forced the bindings broken and opened the door for it. (Never play chicken on the end of the world with someone who's a channel for a nihilist void-being.)
8) If he'd spoken up, there'd have been a lot more bitching, a very different route taken that would've avoided some train wrecks but given more openings to take shots at them, and they'd have been less aimed straight at the heart of enemy territory and more "Let's lure him this way into the Horsemen"; further outcome would be future. If he'd bolted, it would've gone to 7.
Has your character personally experienced an alternate timeline in their canon? No, but he knows a guy from one, and hangs around someone who regularly fits between planes/realms/timelines?
Can the Twins know about that alternate timeline? What should they know about it? I don't know if secondhand association would help much, and Ryan's timeline is a fairly normal 2011 modern-Earth.
Would you like them to be discreet with this information? Can they blurt it out or should they drop hints? Whatever they want if it comes up somehow. (He'll probably spazz pretty impressively at first if they're blunt about it.)
